The Malghesino Zafferano is a soft blue cheese made with cow’s milk subjected to pasteurization.

The “Natural” type has a decidedly spicy flavor with hints of saffron.

White or pale yellow paste, streaked with blue/greenish mould development. Gray crust and/or rosé NOT EDIBLE.

At the touch looks “solid” and creamy, with entire paste without holes.
On the palate it is soft and amalgamated melting easily in your mouth.
